Barry Cooper is a Santa Barbara jazz guitarist available for weddings, parties, and other 
events in Santa Barbara and surrounding areas. Born near Liverpool, England, he began playing guitar at age seventeen and by age twenty was playing professionally. As an employee of the Mecca Dance Corporation he played in every major city in the UK. He also toured Europe, playing at U.S. military bases and worked on Princess Cruise Lines. Barry moved to Los Angeles in 1976 and began playing at hotels, restaurants, and night clubs. He has performed with artists such as Anita O’Day, Natalie Cole, and Paul Williams.
His repertoire includes standards from the Great American Songbook, jazz, and popular music. He is available as a soloist or with a small band including bass and drums.
